Our stay was quite enjoyable, particularly because of the warm hospitality we received. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff was friendly and helpful, especially during our time in the lounge. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the breakfast was good. This location is also ideally placed for exploring historic Vicksburg attractions like the Vicksburg National Military Park, which was just a short drive away.

The Beautiful Double Room was massive and beautifully decorated with vintage details. The bathroom setup was spacious, which I loved. The ambiance of the room really added to the historic feel of the place. Only downside was that some areas felt a bit dated, but it definitely had charm and character.

Gorgeous architecture, beautiful garden areas, historical accommodations
The lack of clear instructions for everything left us confused!!! The run-down surroundings and poorly maintained common areas really detracted from the experience!!! The steep and rickety stairs are something to reconsider!!!

great stay but prepare for stairs
The grounds were impressively maintained, with plenty of outdoor seating and a lovely pool area. I enjoyed a spacious suite that offered fine sunset views from the porch.
Be ready for three flights of stairs to reach the room.

A surprising twist on our getaway
Staying in such a historic mansion was enchanting, especially while sipping mint juleps by the beautiful pool. The atmosphere just felt so alive and cute.
The stairs were quite steep and lacking in upkeep. It made getting to our room a bit more challenging than expected.

Beautiful place with amazing grounds and a comfy suite! Staff were super friendly, especially the bartenders. Enjoyed delicious apps and breakfast too. Just a heads up, carrying your bags up the stairs can be a bit of a workout. It was a good experience, and my pup had a blast roaming around!
